Lagoinha, Sapé and Maranduba are three connected beaches that form a massive bay as you enter the county of Ubatuba in Brazil. Its a great local option for surfing as the bay is open and doesn’t suffer from being too close to Ilhabela (which can block the incoming swells).
If you’re not into waves, then at each end of the bay are calmer, more protected areas, great for paddling and swimming.
This shot was taken on a Mavic Pro at the northern end of the beaches where the river enters the sea.
