My second day in Rio and I awoke to brilliant sunshine (again) and a hearty breakfast. I met the rest of the folks staying at the camp: the Irish girls, Chad, Mauro, Kat, The Fins and Carly and Carl. Me, the Irish girls and Chad went up to Recreio beach for the girls to have a surf lesson and me to have a general surf. I caught a few more waves and then we stopped at a beach cafe for some food and agua de cocoa, which is basically a coconut with a hole in it and a straw for you to drink the juice, all tasty.
In the afternoon I surfed a little more and then we had a few more beers in the evening and sat around and relaxed and exchanged travel stories.
