Yesterday Rose and I got up super early and headed 45 mins up the coast to check out Itamambuca. Another beautiful day we thought we’d get the best of both worlds by Rose being able to stand up paddle up the Rio Itamambuca and I could catch a few waves.
We didn’t realise but the Ubatuba Pro competition was on (part of the Stand Up World Tour). The level of surfing was pretty amazing to watch. I was humbled in the waves as the non-competing surfers dominated the waves.
Later on in the day Rose and I paddled up the river, truly breathtaking scenery.
