After spending 4 relaxing days at Douar Samra in the High Atlas mountains we decided our next little adventure would be to visit the Sahara desert.
We got in contact with Desert Dreams, based in Ouazazate and booked up a 2 day tour that would take us to the Sahara desert.
We left Imlil mid-afternoon by taxi back to Marrakech and then headed through the Atlas mountains, through the Ourika Valley, across the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass and finally down to Ouazazate.
The scenery was magnificent with changing colours, textures and views every hour or so. Here’s a few pictures taken out of the taxi window.
